Much like our 7-on-7 games, our skills camp for the Rookie Class (Grades 5 and 6) will focus on the basic skills of the various positions necessary to participate within the game setting. Athletes will be guided through drills as receivers, running backs, and quarterbacks, as well as their defensive counterparts.

In our Junior Varsity Division (Grades 6 and 7), our athletes will gain valuable experience learning more advanced strategies necessary for success within the game. Our athletes will continue to build upon basics skills developed in the Rookie Division as they continue to develop and advance skills for higher levels of play.

The DGFFL also offers a Varsity Division (Grades 7 and 8) that will prepare our athletes with the skills, strategies, and techniques necessary for success at the high school level. The Varsity Division is designed for all players by beginning with basic skills and quickly advancing our athlete’s abilities to allow them the skills and confidence necessary to be successful in high school play.

Finally, our Collegiate level (Grades 8+) is for our most advanced play. Although our athletes will be learning new skills while continuing to fine-tune their abilities, athletes within the Collegiate Division should have at least one year of playing experience, although it is not necessary. The Collegiate Division will allow our athletes to play at a highly competitive level that is created to continue to fine-tune all skills and strategies that have been previous covered in all other divisions. Many athletes may find this division to be helpful during the offseason of their high school team to get a head start on the next season.
